Design

The products we produce are part of people’s daily life and play role in how they live and their well-being . We believe that our designs should be in harmony with nature but also embody the latest in technology combined with the art of imagination. They should be pleasing to the eye, functional and reliable and safe and embody three equally important themes: 

·Health & Well Being – Our products should have no harmful metals, plastics or other substances 

·Sustainability – The materials we use should be non-resource depleting and recyclable

·Environmentally Friendly – Our products should be in harmony with nature and the natural environmentWe use 3D Max and PRO-E software in the design phase and if required can 3D print a workable model to scale for evaluation prior to the Engineering phase,

Engineering 

Our business depends on our ability to provide innovative, cost efficient quality products and continuing R&D is   essential in achieving all of these. The ability to innovate is driven by a desire  to increase or maintain our customers market share, extend product range of existing lines and improve quality. The most important sources for innovation are internal, external hires, customers, suppliers of materials, components and equipment. We follow two processes in this area: 

‍·Applied Research‍

Applied research has more specific and directed objectives. This type of research aims to determine methods to address a specific customer/industry need or requirement.These investigations are all focused on specific commercial objectives regarding products or processes.

·Development

Development is when findings of a research are utilized for the production of specific products including materials, systems and methods. Design and development of prototypes and processes are also part of this area. A vita  l differentiation at this point is between development and engineering or manufacturing. Development is research that generates requisite knowledge and We use 3D Max; PRO-E and CAD software in the design phase and if required can 3D print a workable model to scale for evaluation prior to the Manufacturing phase.

‍Manufacturing‍

We offer our customers three solutions to their product needs:

ODM – Original Design Manufacturing

Customers either select Meijie designed product(s) or request Meijie to design a new product(s) and Meijie retains ownership of the design and tooling.

OEM – Original Equipment Manufacturing

Customers request that Meijie produce an existing product design for them and either provide the tooling or request that Meijie produce tooling, the cost of which will be paid by the customer, either separately or by accruing these costs into the agreed purchase price of the product.

CM – Contract Manufacturing

Customers enter into a Contractual Agreement with Meijie to manufacture a product(s) that meet their specific needs. Under this arrangement the customer owns the exclusive rights to the product, both the design and the tooling. In return the customer will compensate Meijie for design and tooling costs, either separately or by accruing these costs into the agreed purchase price of the product(s).
